Content management systems are often perceived as a golden horse that will burden off and save further costs for updating and maintaining. In reality many web site owners have similar cms system experiences, cms built sites have failed to live up to their expectations.

I would say Content Managing Systems are long run effective for business with big site that needs to update content frequently. But only when in hands of someone who has appropriate skills to manage it.
