    Here’s what I recommend… and this is only for a “sandbox” server. (testing, practice)
    Abyss Web Server
    PHP5
    MySQL
    SQL Manager Lite
    Joomla 1.0.x
    Don’t bother with Joomla 1.5 yet. They haven’t worked-out all the bugs and there aren’t enough extensions to make it worth your time.
